Warhammer 9th Age / Kings of War

Warhammer and Warhammer 9th Age is set in a fantasy version of our world where every nation is at war either protecting their lands or conquering other nations. For more background information, check out The Black Library or Wikipedia.

Present Races include:

  • Bretonnia
  • The Empire
  • High Elves
  • Dark Elves
  • Wood Elves
  • Dwarfs
  • Lizardmen
  • woodelfOrcs and Goblins (Greenskins)
  • Warriors of Chaos
  • Demons of Chaos
  • Skaven
  • Vampire Counts
  • Tomb Kings
  • Ogres

The game has been designed with regiments of fantasy miniatures. Each race has its own unique strengths and flaws; Wood Elves, for example, have the most powerful archers in the game but have
poor overall defence and Bretonnia have the strongest cavalry but weak infantry.

Bring your army and lay down a challenge! Painting of your army is not necessary but highly recommended. If you do not have an army the club presently has about 1500 points of both Orcs & Goblins and Vampire Counts.

Battles consist of two or more players, each fielding an army of an agreed value usually between 500 and 2,500 points and played on tables four feet in width and six feet in length. Terrain is an important part of playing Warhammer and at OMTS you have a fantastic range to choose from to make your battles more elaborate and challenging.

We no longer have a BattleScribe repository for Warhammer for a variety of reasons, chief of this is there is a more up to date one maintained by the community and very easy to find on Google.
